At MUDDLE we are all about our young students’ clay experience being fun, informative, creative and technique-focussed.
At the start of their MUDDLE term, Young Muddlers are introduced to a number of basic techniques from which they build on to create their chosen series of works. As the student gains confidence in their chosen technique more independence can sometimes be introduced if they are demonstrating the skills and aptitude required to work on their own projects, should they choose to do so.
In our experience working with kids & young people needs to be on an individual basis, as some students need much more structure than others, and some students may have a lot of experience in working with clay so are very happy to work on their own with mentoring.
Our large light-filled workshop space includes 10 pottery wheels, a slab roller, hand-building tables, and all the tools needed.
