Wheely Good Fun

$95.00 inc GST

2 hours of messy fun learning how to throw on a potters wheel.

Set your expectations low and go, go, go!

Suitable for kids aged 12 years +, but they must be accompanied by a paying adult.

PLEASE NOTE – Wheely Good Fun workshops are short, fun, and messy; designed for absolute beginners. They are not suitable for people wishing to develop their throwing skills, particularly by purchasing multiple sessions. We do not offer skill development in these workshops, just the basics so that participants can hopefully make at least a couple of wonky pots!

Come along & make a wonky pot with us! In this 2-hour workshop you’ll be introduced to the basic techniques of wheel throwing. It’s messy, uncoordinated and wheely good fun.

You might make a couple of pots, you might just make a mess – it’s all about the process not the product!

You get to keep whatever you do make. We will fire it and glaze your pot in our in-house white glaze. Pots will be ready for collection around 4 weeks after the workshop.

We’ll supply everything you need, including some snacks and refreshments.

*The astute among you will have noticed the slight price increase. Unfortunately, like so many small businesses, we have had to make some increases in our prices due to the rising costs of, well, everything. We’ve added this note here because we want to be completely transparent about it, community is at the heart of what we do. We’ve tried to keep it as minimal as possible; we hate that we have to do it. Thanks for you support.*

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Clay, decoration colours, glazes and firing all included.

Our wheels are all in use for our classes, so we’re sorry but we are unable to offer any of our pottery wheels for hire. The same goes for all of our other equipment and tools.

We don’t have Gift Vouchers available to purchase, we’re sorry.
