Drawing on over 30 years of experience working in ceramics, including production studios, large group ceramic studios to a number of home studios, this workshop offers a wealth of knowledge for anyone who is setting up a a studio of their own.

Isaac is a ceramic artist and educator with over 25 years experience in clay. In that time, Isaac has worked across a wide range of ceramic techniques and finishes – including wheel throwing, hand-building, slab work, slip casting, hump/slump moulds, decorating and glazing; and has taught across a diverse range of the community.

We get asked a lot if we offer a firing service, and unfortunately, we don’t. The only place we know of in Hobart that has a kiln hire/firing service is Derwent Ceramics in Moonah.
Our wheels are all in use for our classes, so we’re sorry but we are unable to offer any of our pottery wheels for hire. The same goes for all of our other equipment and tools.
