Inlay Workshop with Kate Bowman

$120.00 inc GST

Join us for a fun 2.5-hour workshop led by local ceramic artist Kate Bowman, exploring the art of clay inlay to create unique tableware for your home!

Clay inlay is a technique that uses two contrasting clay bodies pressed into each other, allowing you to achieve an unlimited range of organic shapes and patterns.

In addition to inlay, students will also learn a variety of hand-building techniques, including slab rolling and working with molds. Perfect for those looking to craft beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for their home!

After the workshop, we’ll glaze what you have made and have it ready for collection approximately 4 weeks later.

We’ll supply everything you need, including some snacks and refreshments.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Clay, decoration colours, glazes and firing all included.
