Kids aged 12yrs+ are welcome, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

In this relaxed 3-hour session, you’ll learn a variety of hand-building techniques and even get a chance to try your hand at the pottery wheel.

After the workshop, we’ll glaze and fire your creations, ready for you to collect in about four weeks.

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon getting messy with clay and making something truly your own.

All materials are provided, along with snacks and refreshments — just bring your creativity!

We welcome BYO, and provide ice and cups.

Kate Bowman is a nipaluna-based ceramic artist, whose work extends beyond traditional ceramics to explore incorporating industrial waste into her practice. This unconventional approach results in a range of furniture and lighting pieces that infuse discarded materials with newfound value and purpose.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your booked workshop please notify us as soon as possible via email.

If we are able to find someone to take your place in the workshop you will be refunded 90% of the workshop fee. If we are unable to find someone to take your place in the workshop you will be refunded 50% of the workshop fee.

No refund will be given if you cancel within 7 days of the workshop date.

If the workshop is cancelled by MUDDLE Ceramics Workshop then you will be refunded in full.

We get asked a lot if we offer a firing service, and unfortunately, we don’t. The only place we know of in Hobart that has a kiln hire/firing service is Derwent Ceramics in Moonah.

Our wheels are all in use for our classes, so we’re sorry but we are unable to offer any of our pottery wheels for hire. The same goes for all of our other equipment and tools.
